Hosting the Ultimate Holiday Gathering

The holiday season is upon us! Whether you’re in charge of hosting this year’s Thanksgiving or planning a festive get-together with your friends, we’ve got all the supplies you need to create the perfect holiday party.

.
PART 1: MAKING YOUR GUESTLIST, AND CHECKING IT TWICE

First things first, don’t forget your RSVPs! Whether you’re looking to keep it classy or add a bit of fun, take a look through our holiday boxed notes for sending out your invitations with a festive flare! Or spin through our large collection of single holiday cards and personalize your invitations to each guest.
PART 2: TIME TO SET THE TABLE
The day of the gathering, make sure everything is in place. Set out the place cards with everyone’s names, and grab the festive paper plates and matching napkins so you’re ready when the guests arrive. Decorate your kitchen too with a couple tea towels, like our Noteworthy Amaryllis Tea Towel or these dish towels from The Neighborgoods to help with an easy clean up! Serve up your favorite holiday dishes on party platters like this Christmas Cookies Round Serving Tray or Evergreen Nutcracker Serving Tray from Rifle Paper Co., which you can reuse for next year’s festivities. Don’t forget to set the mood with some festive taper candles or a Cypress & Fir Tree Totem Candle from Paddywax!

PART 3: HAVE A JOLLY GOOD TIME

Let’s get this party started! A holiday party can’t be complete without festive attire for your guests, so grab a handful of Santa and Tree Mini Party Hats, Reindeer Red Nose Glasses, Candy Cane Sunglasses, and Elf Feet Headbands, and be sure to snap a few pictures to keep as mementos! And keep the fun going with Candy Cane Crunch Cocoa or some simple syrups from Meadowland Syrups, which are easy to mix into holiday themed cocktails, after dinner coffees, and even frosting for your dessert.

PART 4: WRAP IT UP WITH A BOW

As the party starts to wind down, don’t forget to hand out party favors to your guests! Keep it sweet and simple with a Mint Candy Cane, or an ornament (Perhaps a Stick of Butter Ornament as a memento of the delicious food they ate?). Or try wrapping their gifts with some festive holiday gift wrap, complete with a fun holiday gift tag!
